Terms & Conditions

Last updated February 2026

These terms apply to everyone using AI Folks, including the website, the free resources, the community and the paid programs. Using any of them means you accept these terms.

01Who we are

AI Folks is operated by OpenBootcamp, based in Bangalore, India. You can reach us at support@aifolks.org for anything in this document.

02Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us and for keeping your login details private. Accounts are for one person and may not be shared or resold.

We may suspend an account that shares paid material publicly, harasses other members, or is used to scrape or resell our content.

03Enrolment and payment

Program fees, inclusions and start dates are shown at the point of enrolment. Fees are payable in advance unless an instalment plan is offered to you in writing.

Taxes are added where applicable. Prices may change for future cohorts; a change never affects a cohort you have already paid for.

04Refunds and cancellation

If a cohort is cancelled or rescheduled by us and the new date does not work for you, you receive a full refund.

Refund requests made within the first week of a cohort are considered in full. After that point, refunds are at our discretion and are assessed against the material already delivered.

05Course material and intellectual property

Lessons, assignments, recordings and written material remain our property or that of their respective owners. You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own learning.

You keep ownership of the projects and code you write during the program. We may ask permission before featuring your work publicly.

06Community conduct

Treat other members as colleagues. Harassment, discrimination, spam and unsolicited recruiting are grounds for removal without refund.

07Outcomes

We provide teaching, mentorship, project reviews and interview preparation. We do not guarantee employment, a salary level or a specific interview outcome, because those depend on your work and on the market.

08Third-party services

Some parts of the experience run on third-party tools such as forms, community platforms, payment processors and cloud notebooks. Their terms apply to your use of them alongside ours.

09Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability in connection with the service is limited to the fees you have paid in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

10Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced to enrolled members. These terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts in Bangalore having jurisdiction.
